Motion, Stillness, and the Real Root of Relationship Conflict

In my clinic I have spent years thinking about balance, and the truth is, most relationship conflict isn't a communication problem. It's an energy problem.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, every person carries a natural predominance toward Yin (reflection, stillness, receptivity) or Yang (drive, action, motion). Most relationship conflict isn't about picking the wrong partner. It is about these two energies colliding without a shared structure to hold them.

The partner who's always moving isn't wrong. The partner who needs stillness isn't either. But when neither rhythm is understood, "why won't you just talk to me" and "why won't you just give me space" become the same argument. Just worn down into different words.

Balance isn't about one person changing. It's about both energies finding their rhythm together.
